Data protection information in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the implementation of the races of the Seglervereingung 1903 Berlin e.V.
The following information provides you with an overview of the processing of your personal data by us as the organising association and your rights under data protection law.

2. For the purpose of organising the race, we process the personal data that the race participants transmit to us with their registration for the race. These are name, address, e-mail address, club, type of boat, sail number and, in the case of regattas with age ratings, the year of birth.
As part of the implementation of the races, results, mathematical and optical evaluations, position tracking (also in the form of race analyses) will also be assigned to the participants and made publicly available, e.g. in the form of start/participant and result lists on notices on the board for announcements of the respective race, on the club homepage (www.sv03.de) or on the respective event page of Manage2Sail.
As part of the implementation and handling of the race, the necessary data, in particular in the form of result lists, will be transmitted by the club to the operator of Manage2Sail as well as to the respective responsible class association for the preparation of the ranking list and for the evaluation and control of the entries and results to the German Sailing Association e.V., Gründgensstraße 18, 22309 Hamburg. The German Sailing Association publishes the names, clubs and rankings of the best six participants at championships on its website. The operator of Manage2Sail and the DSV are or will be obliged to use your data only for the event and its preparation and follow-up, including rankings and overarching rankings. Commercial use is prohibited. In connection with its statutory purpose (promotion of sailing), the club publishes personal data, texts, photos and films of the race participants in its club newspaper as well as on its homepage www.sv03.de in the context of reporting on the race and transmits this data to print and telemedia as well as to electronic media for sports reporting, if necessary. This applies in particular to start, participant and result lists of the race. In addition to photos and films, the publication/transmission of data is limited to name, club affiliation and – if necessary for sporting reasons – age or year of birth.
3. Participants can object to the publication of individual photos of themselves at any time to SV 03 Berlin. As soon as the objection is received, the publication / transmission will be omitted and the association will remove existing photos from its homepage and social media.
By registering for the race and thus accepting the rules and this data protection notice, the regatta participants agree to the collection, processing (storage, modification, transmission) and use of their personal data to the extent and scope mentioned above. The organising association is only permitted to use data in any other way if it is obliged to do so for legal reasons. A data sale is not permitted.
Within the framework of the legal provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act, every regatta participant has the right to information about the data stored about him/her, its recipients and the purpose of storage, as well as to correct, delete or block this data. In addition, he or she has the right to revoke his or her consent to the collection, processing and use of this data at any time with effect for the future and to contact the competent supervisory authority (Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Friedrichstraße 219, 10969 Berlin). After the race has been completed, the personal data will be deleted again. The result lists of the race will be archived for sports purposes.
